All the people I met and made wonderful friends with
All the art I managed to submit (which wasn't alot in the end, but still, good enough for me)
And all the experiences I've been through in the time I haven't logged on here.
I won't delete my account, forever ridding the community of my existence on here - but I'm letting you all know that, as of right now, life is calling for too many responsibilities and things for me to do and contemplate, that unfortunately, it means no time for drawing (other than what's required of my art classes) and no time for devart.
Appreciate me for what I was, because I really am happy to have gone through all I did here on deviantart. To all of you who were good friends of mine, and to those I still keep in touch with, you know who you are.
And you know I love you, and keep you all in a special place in my heart.
Saying goodbye is tough - even cybernetically, so before I go, I'll let you guys in on some of the stuff that has happened since the last time I journaled, now seeming such a long time ago - April 18.
I was in middle school then, not yet in high school, not yet even in the summer - now everything is quite different: I'm a high school freshman, taking AP classes; the summer is long over, and my 15th birthday is 9 days in the past. I had a good birthday, (went to go see Eagle Eye; awesome movie, catch it!) and am enjoying the spoils this new maturity brings to me - as well as the daunting responsibilities. Being a full-fledged teen is something I enjoy, not abhor.
Isn't that how it should be?
Unfortunately, as many things change, so do people. And those I used to hold dear are no longer as big a part in my life as I wanted, or had hoped they'd be.
These people will remain unnamed, and though their presence here may go unnoticed, the holes in their hearts as well as mine will never go away.
I still love you all the same.
My home life is still the same, my parents just as supportive and cooperative as ever - which is a blissful thing. I've happily began attending church and am under the influence of my wonderful and merciful Lord - who I really wish you all could get to know as well as I have come to.
Religion really is a touchy subject.
In any case, I am still pursuing a career in writing, as I hope this piece explains to you, and am good with all my classes. I made new friends, and new relationships. No, I haven't met anyone new, but I have got my heart set on someone who I'm hoping feels the same way back - and lucky for you guys, since you don't know him and probably never will, I'll tell you who he is - He attends my church, and I have come to realize genuine feelings for him.
I hope whatever is meant for me works out, because God wants it to be so.
Well, this is dragging on and I'm sure whoever is taking the time to read this has way better things to "waste" their time on. But in any case, thank you for taking the time to read this. It is, after all, my last entry before I abandon *tear* devart forever.
A few reminders to those that want to be reminded:
Since I'm such a big Twilight fan, I want to make sure you ALL know about the upcoming release dates of a few things-
-Twilight The Movie: Novel Companion: An illustrated Twilight novel with facts on the movie.
-Twilight soundtrack: November 4. Features songs by Muse, Paramore, and Rob Pattinson himself.
-Twilight movie: November 21st. DON'T miss it, even if you end up detesting the thing for what it is.
-Twilight: The Official Guide: December 30. The ultimate guide to all things Twilight Saga - maps, character profiles, Q&As and more.
Don't forget there's also a calendar and bookmarks out there at Waldenbooks and Borders; as well as T-shirts, posters, and so much more you can find. We Twilighters are hard-core fans.
And to those of you who have not yet read The Host, I HIGHLY recommend you do. Even if you don't like Twilight, I promise it's in no way related. Stephenie just has a way with writing that draws you in - believe me, once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down and am currently on Chapter 14.
Now I sound like a Twilight ad. Well, just wanted to let you all know (again).
Happy Halloween and Christmas and goodness to you all; I love you, and I'll miss you, and I'll keep in touch any way I can - but I'm not making promises.
Thanks again to all those who made my time on devart just THAT much sweeter.
You know who you are.
Sincerely,
LiLeRzz. {sPiRalyTe}
~signing out.
Oh lordy! I just realized - Tomorrow will make a year for myself joining dev! How ironic! It just adds to the depth of my departure. Thanks for a year of memories, guys.
I'll never forget you.
